I can see the cops making an argument about Reckless Endangerment, given the panic you could engender with this thing.

“A man drown today as he became stuck in a ridiculously crafted shark “costume””

My shoes look like that after normal wear for about one year. Must be doing something wrong.

It’s funny you should mention that. This is the same thing I have been complaining about in the new Star Trek movies. The Enterprise was always a character in the original tv show and original cast movies. Kirk was in love with his ship similar to the way Han loves the Falcon.

This is one case where corporate control over a director could work. Hopefully the Star Wars powers that be will curtail his middling story and pacing instincts and play up his strengths in spectacle and effects set-pieces.

I’m in the same boat. I had faith in JJ with The Force Awakens because, for his weaknesses, he’s always been fantastic at assembling a cast and getting good performances from them.

Interesting tonal shift from the previous trailer, which was a bit more serious/heavy. Not that this one wasn’t serious, but it also had a bit more humor and the “this is our chance to make a real difference” vibe. But I’m down.

Ben Mendelsohn just exudes an evil intensity. It’s like he is channeling both Gary Oldman and Ian McKellan.

I’m still kinda wary about Gareth Edwards as a storyteller. But the man definitely knows how to convey a grand sense of scale and make a good looking movie. Starkiller base never looked as awfully intimidating to me as the O.G. Death Star does in these trailers.

Please tell me it jams your fingers down into the compartment and mangles your hand. I want to see the lawsuit that the would-be thief will levee against the owner and RR. Gotta love ‘Merica.

I have an appendage that does the same thing, usually at the most inopportune times.

Enhance!!!

But Star Wars took place long ago in a galaxy far far away. Buck Rogers took place in the future. So Buck Rogers flew a “retro-classic” ship.

Such a good looking ship.

The Circle is Now Complete.

Yeah, that’s great and all, but a lot of people sell their old unit to fund the purchase of a new unit. Those old units tend to sell better when people can power them up/ use them. It’s only convenient for Nintendo.

why would you assume I already carry a lightning cable everywhere I go? iPhone only has ~10% of the world market and nothing else in the world uses that useless, overpriced, proprietary connector.

moron

Wait... so what’s the default charger for the 3DS? If it’s proprietary, then Nintendo not including a charger is bullshit.

i like how the headline assumes nintendo 3ds owners also own an idevice.
