I got some yard work done before the deluge here in Texas started - I ripped out a bunch of shrubs that were dying in the shade. I'm not much of a gardener, but destroying things is always satisfying. Besides that, I didn't do much. I have a bunch of sewing and furniture projects I need to do, but just couldn't find

Ah the Dexter AntiProtagonist Pitfall.

It was very low-key - more enjoyable than outright funny. I liked it quite a bit when it was on originally, but I don't remember cracking up at it.

I think I'm finally starting to like working on my yard. Right now, it's clearing out a bunch of 3 foot high weeds, but it feels productive every time I fill up a refuse bag. I expect I'll hate it once it gets hotter, but right now, it's fun to think about what I should put where when it's all cleaned up.

Three day weekend this weekend! Technically, last weekend was a 4 day weekend for me, but that's because I was sick, so I don't count it. I'm excited to get some stuff done! Lots of sewing projects, work on my back yard, painting furniture, etc. Yay!

This newswire rates an 11th grade readability score. Look at Mr. Smarty Pants O'Neal over here!

Every Hulu app I've used has sucked majorly - Wii, Amazon Fire Stick, iOS. I would tolerate the commercials (grudgingly) if the damn thing just would just stream. You know, like the whole point of it.

I'm not a good gardener as it is, but it looks like I'll miss planting season. Right now, I'm working on just getting my yard back into shape after turning into a weed jungle when spring hit. It's going to be a while before I can spend any time trying to make more things grow.

A client canceled an order I was actually really excited to do. Now I must find an excuse to try out all the chalk paint I bought for her project. Also, intense allergies today. I woke up in the middle of the night with lymph nodes swollen to the size of beach balls. I guess my years of lording my allergy-immunity

No I don't think so. I had to google it - Global Response Staff with the CIA.

Toby Stephens is my favorite Rochester of all time. Come at me, Welles-heads! That's what Orson Welles' fanatical fan base is called, right?

Nope, you'll bounce your uterus right out of you. That's also why we weren't allowed in marathons back then. Gotta keep that uterus in there!

My niece was obsessed with this show when we went to Disney a few years ago (I introduced it to her). They had an interactive video thing set up where the kid is green-screened into the backyard for a little vignette. It was so fun to watch her geek out over that. She's also moved away from it a bit - MLP: FIM is the

I have very little work-work right now, but have a bunch of projects for my side business I need to finish. I'm just having a hard time knowing which one to start with. The one that will take me the longest, the one with the most at stake for failure (wedding stuff) or the one that will be the easiest, but has no

Have you considered thermal blackout curtains? I had the same problem (big old sliding door in my room - lots of glass) and I added blackout lining to my curtains and it helped a ton.

I finally got my electrician out to my house (super nice guy and really knows his stuff, but flaky as hell) so now I have electricity in my kitchen and bedroom again! Hurray! And even though I could feasibly go back to work this afternoon, with no meetings and my boss out of town, working from home seems like the

My weekend was pretty productive - I got lots of stuff done on design projects for other people. I wanted to see the Avengers but got too busy - hopefully I can do that later this week. Today I get to work from home while I wait for my flaky electrician to show up. Hooray stretchy pants!

Is Gary Cole too old?
