Oooh positivity, I should try this. Let's see: (1) For lunch, I had the greatest salad known to mankind me - an Asian/Mexican fusion salad from Whole Foods' taco bar. (2) I got approximately 10 hours of sleep last night thanks to Advil PM {non-paid advertisement, but uh…if you want to send me money, Advil…}. (3) My

One of us! One of us!

I can't wait for my face to be melted!

Wow, Michael's has that racket locked down. Impressive.

Maybe cut back on the Spaceballs re-watches?

Criminy that's expensive. If you haven't already done so, sign up for their emails and their app. They often run a 40% coupon for framing.

Even the mention of that movie starts the soundtrack going in my head. "We're gonna scoo-ooo-oore toni-ight". Damn it, Martha.

I put together the majority of a bachelorette party at the last minute. The girl who was supposed to most of the stuff got knocked out with the flu, so I took over but kept it as simple as possible. Taco bar for dinner, lots of champagne and vodka, 80's dance party at a club famous for its themed costume parties that

Along with the "Doo doo doo, I'm going to look at the sky and smile for a bit while I'm driving" business.

I like the speeches that actually say something, but more often than not it's a long list of people they're thanking and that gets tedious and repetitive.

Drop the acceptance speeches and In Memorium. Everyone has a platform now through which they can thank any one they damn well please: twitter, blogs, videos on YouTube, etc. Someone is always left out of In Memorium - just post it online.

Heh heh, "pocket monsters."

Would you doubt the word of the Dread Pirate Roberts?

My favorite thing about my DVD of TPB is a behind-the-scenes video he shot while walking around the set, narrating it with random stories and trivia (apparently Samuel Beckett used to drive Andre the Giant to school). I expect there will be some redundancy, but he seems genuinely interested in everyone's stories, not

Condor is one of the cases where the movie improves the book, in my opinion. Mild spoilers: It was a fun story, but there was a lot of padding (hence the 3 extra days) and the female character in the book is a bit ridiculous. At least the movie gave her a bit of complexity and conflict about hooking up with her

I've considered trying Tinder out, but you've just reminded me of the many reasons why I dislike dating online/apps. Newp.

I finished the audiobooks for 6 Days of the Condor and Day of the Jackal. I like the story of Jackal much better than Condor, although it took some Wikipedia-ing to figure out how much of the beginning was history and how much was fiction. I am now much better versed in the assassination attempts on Charles de Gaulle.

My favorite jokes right now are the ones my 3-year-old nephew gets wrong.

I spent two hours in the car this morning, getting a third of the way to my destination before giving up and turning around - the complete trip would normally have taken 30ish minutes. Dump some fog and light drizzle on Austin, and people lose their ever-loving minds. That's ok, I didn't really need my teeth cleaned.

The Beek's entire role is to say "Cut the techno-babble, nerd." each week. He will win 7 Emmys.
