Going to my sister's, being annoyed by her in-laws, ignoring the fact that I'm the only single one left in the family. The usual.

We should start Thanksgiving meetups and take other AV Clubbers to family gatherings to deflect those questions. Plus, after they meet one of us, they'll never push you to bring someone again! "No, you were right, alone is best…"
Kelly Clarkson and Kesha. I try to like "good" music that my friends suggest, but I just want my threadbare pop!
I got a bottle of Bulleit bourbon this weekend. I know nothing about whiskeys and bourbons, but I know I'm enjoying drinking it, especially in hot toddys and apple ciders. Winter adult beverages are the best.
You've got to stop sleep-limbo-ing.
You know that's right.
I put whiskey in my hot apple cider the other night. Best decision I've made all week. Hot alcohol is my second favorite alcohol.
She's going to be busy, since I'm sure they'll cast her for Alice. Everyone in the show will just keep remarking on how intense and unhinged she is to make us believe she's a good actress.
Then Some Piece of Shit Graverobber at 11! It's the new FX Death lineup!
Is Sons of Anarchy good? I've never really paid much attention to it - in the small pieces I've seen of it, everyone seems pretty non-stop miserable - but looking at the grades, it looks like the first 5 seasons at least were well rated. And as we all know, the grades are an absolute, empirical evaluation.
And unless you've drawn a good location, you only get paid a quarter of what you're worth.
Oh don't get me wrong, the show was a boatload of fun and I definitely have a few songs from the soundtrack on my phone. I just want Christian Borle (and Laura Bell Bundy) to be way bigger stars than they are. They're too good for small parts in Smash/Peter Pan/HIMYM (heh, boats again…)
(I think you have to say it 3 times to summon the mythical O'Neal Snarktopus.)
But then his lovely singing voice would go to waste! The one number he really got to do on Smash was the highlight of that trainwreck. Maybe he can take over from Michael C. Hall after his run in Hedwig?
Oh dear, it sounds like Allison Williams is going to attempt a British accent for this, based on that clip. That seems like a bad idea, but taking shots when she messes it up could make for a promising drinking game/merciful death.
Broadway hasn't done much better by him. His biggest role there so far was in Legally Blonde: The Musical (still the only musical I've seen actually on Broadway, but still). Criminally underused!
Aaaand now I want to see an adaptation of My Fair Lady with Christopher Walken. No lady needed - he can play both leads.
Also, for misspelling "handsy". Pander better, spambot!
Ha nope. It sounds like a lot of people are having a tough time right now. Everyone else's misery makes me feel so much better!
Thank you for the support! Unfortunately, as a lady, it makes me super self conscious and feels like I'm reinforcing stereotypes (whether it's actually perceived that way or not).
