It's not really cold enough yet here (Texas) but I'm still pretending like it's full on fall - I even made split pea soup last night. I love fall so much, I like to think I can will it here earlier.

They Do It With Mirrors…and Lasers…and Robots…and Radiation

Hannibal, but I wouldn't recommend binge-watching it. Intersperse with episodes of Sleepy Hollow to ground yourself back in reality.

Can we please have Jasmine Guy as Abbie and Jenny's crazy mom? She's the only actress whose cheekbones could live up to those of her fictitious daughters.

Gotcha. I avoided most of the detailed reviews and comments and whatnot when it came out, so I wasn't sure if I was supposed to be surprised. "It just was." is a very good summation. I liked that it was much more of a spy thriller than any of the other Marvel entries - I think that contrasts nicely with the Captain

I thought Adam Baldwin might've been a joke, so I googled. I'm sad now.

I shall crosspost from the Q&A:

Finally got to see Captain America: Winter Soldier now that it's finally rentable on Amazon. I was already spoiled on the big reveal (was it supposed to be a big reveal? I don't know.) but it is still one of my favorite Marvel movies so far. I still need to see the 2nd Thor (well, "need") and GotG (NEED) to be all

The Diamond one is a total sell-out, with all that cheerful, colorful shit on it. The Pearl is keeping it real. No vegetables, no peace (for your bowels)!

I rewatched that when I was sick recently - that movie is just an hour and half of pure happiness. I mean, I was pretty doped up on painkillers, but I stand by my assessment.

I'm going to return this idea to the Complaints Department. (That's the only thing I can remember about Ziggy.)

Aymanut shot first.

Enlisted…sigh.

But with more threats of violence!

I feel ya, Sonia. I wish I could rationalize my love for Kesha's music, but I really can't. Not going to stop me from dancing unabashedly in my car to We R Who We R or Die Young. Curse your catchy pop music, you dollar-sign-less woman!

As much as I love Queen's big hits, I really should explore all their other work. I shall add it to my pop culture to-do list.

That's funny - in the UK, when the Radio 4 production was announced, apparently it was widely reported as "Pratchett's 'Good Omens'" and everyone was up in arms about that, including Terry Pratchett. Lesson: the media doesn't know how to deal with plural authors.

Do they all live in Wee-Bey's fish tank? I mean, it was a big tank, but I don't think it'd be too hard to find Dory in there.

Our intermission has begun! MILL ABOUT!

Also: blowing everything up at the end. But I would've like to see at least one puppet get eaten.
