I just barely finished getting 100% in Just Cause 3 Thursday night. My final impression is.... it’s a decent game. I’m not sure if Just Cause 2 was superior, or if it was just my entry to the series, and going through the same motions in a new environment isn’t as novel as it was 10 years ago. And yet I’d still buy

I loved the hell out of Crazy Taxi on the GameCube in 2001/2. And yeah, it’s an absolute time capsule of a game. It’s 2000's EX-TREME!!! in all the best ways, and I can’t imagine playing a version that doesn’t have The Offspring and Bad Religion on the soundtrack.. It wouldn’t be the same game at all.

So I have been on a sort of JRPG kick, mostly confined to the Big Two series, but here’s what it’s been (WARNING: POST IS VERY LONG)-

I’m just on a JRPG kick now. I’ve picked up a couple of old ones on the Switch, and been delving quite a bit further through Fire Emblem: Three Houses. Coming into the start of the next year, there’s been a death, there’s still a big conspiracy we don’t understand, Edelgard needs to learn to move faster than three

This week was a bit of a romp through smaller indie titles. I finished up my time with Signs of the Sojourner, playing through it twice and finding I just didn’t have the stamina for a third try, even though there were lots of storylines I wanted to explore to their end. There’s next to no progression or variance

Was looking for a new game and bought 3, whoops.

I’m still slowly making my way through Persona 4 Golden; I’ve just gotten through Naoto’s dungeon, which was mercifully short. That said, I will retract my previous complaint about dungeons being my least favorite part of this game; instead, I will state for the record that I absolutely despise the minigame. Every

My husband and I are both getting really into A Link To The Past Randomizer. It modifies a ROM file so all the items are shuffled throughout the game, and you’re completing dungeons and such with odd equipment layouts. It really gives you an appreciation for how tightly programmed that game is, and each randomized

Step 1: Wear a fucking mask. The fun of having someone with a suspected case in your house will definitely convince you it’s worth it.

Finished The Last of Us II. Still mulling it over. Went for NewGame+, got past the intro to Jackson, put it down, turned it off, and have had zero desire to play it ever again. Not sure why.

It’s all about the Nioh 2 DLC this weekend. I finished the first main mission of it last night, which was pretty cool even if the bosses were kinda pushovers. Can’t wait to dig into the new weapon though.

I’m really excited to get my hands on Carrion, but me being cheap and my library already bursting with games I want to get to...I should probably just hold out until I knock some things off my to do list and maybe by then there’ll be a sale. 20XX going free on Epic some months after I binged the MegamanX series has my

Well, I’ve been playing two main “games,” the first one being PCPartPicker:

Continuing my quest to consume very new cultural properties during quarantine, I’ve been enjoying my revisit of Twilight Princess. I’m kinda bummed that I didn’t shell out the dough for the Wii U remaster, but I could’t resist the $8 price tag on the Wii copy I snagged on ebay.

I’m still plugging my way through Persona 4 Golden. I’m post-Void Quest, pre-festival right now, but it’s been slow progress lately because I spent a good deal of time dungeon-grinding. I’m at a point where the equilibrium between money earned per run and the (secretly richest citizen in Inaba) fox’s outrageous

Destroy All Humans!

Downloaded this via Xbox Game Pass but haven’t fired it up yet. Hopefully I’ll be able to this weekend.

In Monster Hunter World I’ve made some progress on the major quests, catching myself a Glavenus and Nargacuga- one of which is a cool metal dinosaur and the other is a flying wolf with tail spikes. Also have fought a Brachydios and gotten my ass handed to me by a Tigrex. I still don’t have the proper material to get

Not playing this week, but bought in advance the Horizon Zero Dawn PC version and so looking forward to starting it next week after all the good things I’ve heard about it.

Made it through the first level of the deadly premonition redo for Switch. Never played it before. Still not sure what to think.
