Monster Hunter World Iceborne and thats probably it,.
I’m down to the nitty gritty in Final Fantasy 8. Just need to finish the Queen of Cards sidequest before venturing into the dungeon that will lead to the time-compressed world.
I also love goddamned ActRaiser. I still have a working SNES and my ActRaiser cartridge, but yeah, I’d much rather play it on the Switch or the SNES Mini.
I’m still giddy over SNES on the switch, even if it was long overdue, and it’s just 20 games, and we’re missing gems, and Nintendo is being its usual Nintendo self and saying that we’re gonna get even less games moving forward. Still, Super Metroid, Super Mario World, Yoshi’s Island, A Link to the Past and the O.G. Sup…
Put Terranigma on the Switch!
Chapter the Fifth: In which our mysterious hero finds itself(?) dropping down a Pit of Hazards, forced past the Point of No Return, where the only way to escape is by defeating the sinister Broken Vessel
E.V.O. Search for Eden was my jam, I probably beat that game several dozen times. Humans evolved from rabbit-faced cats, or cat-faced rabbits, I can't remember.
I do love ActRaiser. If I had cables to the SNES I bought off my roommate’s roommate for $20 in May, I’d be busting out my cart for a fresh playthrough. I wonder how messy acquiring the rights would be with Quintet being nonexistent now. I certainly wouldn’t mind seeing Soulblazer, Illusion of Gaia, and an official US…
I can't understand how we've never gotten a new Act Raiser in all these years. Imagine how good it could be now. God of War meets Sim City.
Salutations~!
I wrapped up Control. It was fine. An interesting story let down by mediocre gameplay married to bullshit difficulty spikes and a damp squib of an ending.
I’ve never played an actual Monster Hunter game. I’ve played Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, which had a weird Monster Hunter crossover series of missions, and I thoroughly enjoyed working through those, but until I purchased a Switch at the beginning of the year, I’d never owned a console that had a US Monster Hunter…
This is less “what am I playing this weekend” and more “what will I be playing in the near future,” but I’ve decided I’m going to finally bite the bullet and get a Nintendo Switch when the Lite releases in two weeks. So I throw the question out to other readers: what are your suggestions for games I should absolutely…
As you might have guessed, I managed to make it through Fire Emblem: Three Houses and am now in the middle of my second runthrough. The story definitely went some places in my Golden Deer playthrough and I wanted to see how the paths branch, so the second run is absolutely a must for my curiosity.
Still very hooked on Dicey Dungeons. Some episodes are very hard indeed, but that makes me want to keep trying. Helps that runs are fairly short.
I'll be hunting down monsters of a different sort alongside a monster "friend" that completely and utterly hates me in Astral Chain. Also rescuing peoples' cats.
Playing through Vampire the Masquerade again, I saw it described as like “it’s completely broken, has a horrible combat system, but it’s one of the best games I’ve ever played” and I feel that. There’s no game with the atmosphere VTMB has and I hope the sequel captures that. It really feels like playing as a vampire…
Halfway through Astral Chain and loving it so far. It has so much style. Gonna maybe try to make a big dent in that this weekend. Also gonna play more SNES games on the switch.
I’ve not got much to say this week. I continue to cut through Assassins Creed Origins, and Egypt continues to be just as beautiful as I reported last time. I know Krokodilopolis would probably be a mosquito infested hellhole of everlasting sweat and crushing humidity, but damn it seems like a kinda nice place to live,…
I started Astral Chain only a couple of days ago, and I haven’t had much time with it yet, so I was planning on spending the bulk of my gaming time this weekend on it. Then Nintendo announced SNES games on switch so, ummm...
