I‘ve been playing nothing but World of Tanks again this week. Slowly grinding up my Tier II & III Vickers Mediums as well as doing the boot camp so I can get a 100% crew when I finally have enough to upgrade to the Matilda at Tier IV. Also watched some QuickyBaby twitch streams and I’ll never be that good.

Which is a

I’ve been bouncing back and forth a bit this week, in my sadly limited gaming time. The overwhelming ball of formless anxiety from which I had been suffering the past month or so seems to have passed, for no clear reason, and I have found that I can actually enjoy Battle Chef Brigade much more as a result. In my first

For my birthday a few weeks ago, the Lady McLurk kindly bought me a PS4, and so I’m currently playing... PS3 games that I really meant to get around to but didn’t until now. (I’m good at deferred gratification).

I haven’t written up any of our groups D&D adventures for a couple of weeks, I need to catch up, but this weekend we’re having a special pre-christmas session whilst everyone is still around, because the party are going to face an adult green dragon, with mysterious rider, likely in its lair. They have already briefly

Star Wars and The Legend of Zelda were my two absolute loves as a child, and so on the way to seeing The Last Jedi today I put some time into Breath of the Wild. Despite wildly different mediums, and excuse me if I’m stretching, it was interesting for me to compare the two, as both franchises now (unless Episode IX has

I have a choice: I can either complete the sunny and funny Watch Dogs 2, which I have been playing for the past few weeks and so should provide some sense of satisfaction, or I can play the somehow-festive Last Guardian again, which I only played once and has been playing on my mind since, and might provide some

Fire Pro Wrestling World leaves Early Access on the 18th! The Management Mode DLC is set for January! Happy times a-comin’. I managed to bring in the whole Netflix-GLOW roster to my promotion (I imagine it as being like a weird distaff version of the nWo invasion), while the historical GLOW is in another fed that has

Yooka-Laylee is not good, like John Wick: Chapter 2.

One week closer to getting the Switch! Been trying to get through Darksiders 2 still, at the Psychameron and it’s really tough. Still going to try to beat it but I’m losing interest.

I’m struggling to find time for Xenobalde Chronicles 2 thanks to my new job taking an extra 45 minutes from my previous day-to-day. Said job also doesn’t see me having a bunch of idle time sitting in front of a PC so I’m going to be popping in a lot less frequently. Keep playing, and I’ll see you fine folks around.

Looks like Kinja ate my original, so here’s a repost from elsewhere:

Got through a bundle of work that had to be done by 10am this morning (I love working with people 6 time zones away...), so now, here’s my actual WAYPTW response:

D&D Update

I tried to swear off Metal Gear Solid V numerous times but keep going back because despite the numerous annoying menus, and mechanics and base management garbage and even despite the fact that the game has one clearly superior strategy (tranq to the face 4ever) it’s got a tight satisfying gameplay loop.

So they added a free versus mode to Mario + Rabbids and I’ll probably play some Divinity: Original Sin with the hubby, but my weekend is all about that sweet Breath of the Wild DLC. I hope it’s worth the wait and cost. I love it when Nintendo announces something than tells us it’s available immediately. It’s such a

This weekend I won’t be able to play too many games besides Darkest Dungeon on the iPad since I’m visiting my folks. My partner and I missed Thanksgiving since I came down with a stomach virus so now I’m getting time in with my family for the holidays since Christmas will be in Iowa this year.

Well, I suppose it will have to be The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, won’t it? Quite a pleasant surprise!

Battle Chef Brigade is on my wishlist. It looks charming and having a game about being a fantasy chef is cool. A game to highlight the cooler parts of the job, not...all the frustrations...

This weekend I’ll be playing the Monster Hunter World beta. It becomes available at noon tomorrow (EST), and I’m excited to jump in and give it a whirl.

I will be playing... uh, new Zelda DLC, apparently! Pretty cool that Nintendo just dropped that out of nowhere last night. Thankfully, I just finished doing my “find the rest of the shrines” clean-up work (I had to resort to a guide for the last few, because I only have so many hours in the day). Still need to get to
