@herogear: Okay, I misinterpreted your original statement. A more expensive game incurs more risk in terms of actually turning a profit (I thought you were saying the opposite was true) so the devs/publishers will opt for a safer established genre/IP.

@Monty: You've single handedly white knighted every brick-and-mortar store on Earth. Why? A woman doesn't make sex with a guy who does this, why would a store?

@herogear: "The lower the cost, the more risk a company may take."

I would happily pay $15 to $20 a month for their streaming catalog to get up somewhere in the 80-90% range with nearly all of it in HD.

@OCEntertainment: Wow, you must be a viral marketing guy hired by netflix to make such a lengthy post defending their honor. I agree with you, though.

I don't give a shit about casual games, this includes phone games. I would much rather watch/listen to a podcast than get involved with something while I'm on the go.

Needs more games - that's it. I'm sure I can use a wired 360 controller with this, just like OnLive for the PC, right?

@TheGMan323: Why? They're not the most indicative of what the actual online population would look like. It's a beta, not something all that exciting.

I forgot I preordered Sonic Colors. I need to go cancel it (unless I still get the hat) and get a media remote for my 360.

@krikkit: Activision can't close or sell Bungie. Bungie is independent, Activision just has a 10-year publishing agreement with them for one IP.

@Deunan: They haven't done anything to me aside from closing mediocre studios. Nothing as irritating as EA's project 10 dollar.

@snapper.fishes: I can't really see it being useful, the game already has aiming-down-the-sights which zooms and slows the aiming, and is necessary if you actually want to kill anyone from beyond 10 feet.

@Live N Learn: Nice reading comprehension, Mr. Nanny State.

Gizmodo who posts leaks and breaks secrets is the best Gizmodo.

I have the right make an agreement with a company to indulge me in some passive activity without having the government shove itself down my throat and up my ass.

Tranny-Li and Nerd-Hulk.

@uglyteradon: Everyone needs the code for the characters to see them in online matches. So, either there's a large "patch" at launch or it's on the disc. I'm sure it'll be on the disc.

@Ditchdigger: I would imagine that publishers will try to squeeze as much out of consumers as possible (they have their sympathy now because the developers are under them).

Lobsters are arthropods. They're basically just underwater bugs. I can't believe people get so upset over their deaths, not any worse than a grasshoper hanging out in digestive juices in the wild.

@0wnfac3: They're still marketing it, though. Also, just because it's a microeconomic point of theory doesn't mean it holds up in practice. It's very human to adjust the price to make past investment seem worthwhile especially when, well, they can get away with it. Rationality =/= reality.
