I thought this was really cool until I saw that they were using giant TV' boxes with small screens from the 60's and a guy in front of a train from the late 70's.

I spent 15 minutes with SMG. I own SMG2 and it's amazing. Why is it nothing without the original?

@BoxOfScraps: One IP that they have full control over. If Bungie makes one game in the series, Activision gets it. If they hate the arrangement, they make a new IP with a different publisher or wait until 2020 and release under a new publisher.

Oh god, it looks so good. I was never a big fan of Blood Gulch (pistols and tanks!) or Coagulation (battle rifles are necessary, spawn with an SMG) but this looks... so good. Varied terrain, really big and it'll be worked into a single player level somewhere.

$300 for a game console is not world-shattering. I think most 360 owners could scrape enough together to get a PS3, and vice versa. If it's that big of a decision, just save a little each paycheck for your entertainment-times.

They're marketing it toward casuals. I don't see how this is a bad thing.
