“Then I became Kid Hip-Hop. Then Kid Alt-Country. And finally, Kid Moe.”

All of Nintendo’s mobile games have been a bust

Ask me about Loom.

“He’d get antsy, I’d get snappy”

“Just make sure you play it portably, in bed, thirty minutes a night,”

Pffffft, don’t listen to this guy. He don’t know.

You make those five gallons of ramen, you strap on that goddamned diaper and you Dragon the fucking Quest until the credits roll or somebody finally finds your body.

They had much fewer letters to work with back then. You were lucky if you could squeeze in a period at the end of a sentence. You had to make do with what you got, and god help you if you wanted to follow up with a second in rapid succession.

Say more. What about Kakariko Village was chilly? Not arguing, just genuinely curious about your take on it. I’ve played through ALttP many times and have never thought of it this way.

I don’t think I could wait hours in line to get a tiny taste of a game that I’m definitely going to pay $60 to own and engorge myself on. I can wait for the full experience.

Look, lots of symbols that have been co-opted by bad actors have innocuous or even benevolent beginnings, most people know that. That doesn’t change the fact that those symbols are now tainted.

I would pay extra to watch this show.

I’m already seeing the comments, so let’s be clear about something here:

“Cancel Culture” did not kill Alec Holowka. We don’t yet have the full picture of how he died, but it sounds as if he died by suicide, and had been suffering from a host of psychological and personal difficulties prior to that final, tragic act.

No

He tried. It was a disaster. Evidently he thought he could fly for some reason.

I mean.. It’s not.. There’s been a ton of coverage since back when they purchased (or whatever) the Cry Engine. It’s called Amazon Lumberyard nowadays.

“Hey guys! You can totally lean into me as well if you want. I also exist.”

Marc: “Joker, did you used to hate me?”

Marc Maron plays a detective hunting down the Joker in a quest to hear his story about the time he met Lorne.

Dredd is such a gem! :)

Look for places where games might be hiding: Does that box of dollar DVD movies have a Smash Bros. Melee? Is there a Parasite Eve in that box of classical music CDs?

How can I correct a server who mispronounces a dish?”
