Yeah, David Crosby is a legend, a gifted artist whose work from 40 years ago sounds 1000 times more vital and energized than anything this lady will ever do.

Yes, you’re right, people have subjective opinions about mediocre music.

To be fair, she’s extraordinarily mediocre pop music, just like nearly all musical acts on SNL these days, and David Crosby is an all-time great.

He’s not wrong. Her performance was a wet fart, and her guitar smashing was just embarrassing.

To be fair, that sounds a damn sight better than the movie they released.

I totally agree—just because I was abused I’m not “fully realized”? I need “strength” to “fully realize” myself? No, I just needed to get the fuck away from my abuser, haha, the realization came naturally after that.

Shame Shame is a funky track, that’s what they were going for: funk.

Instead of seeing this I will watch Mandy for the 100th time, maybe this time on glue.

Someone named Marilyn Manson isn’t the best boyfriend? No way.

Any Given Sunday benefits from Stone’s late period visual artistry, and like JFK, Nixon and especially Natural Born Killers and U-Turn, employs hyper-rapid cutting, different film stocks and flashes of seemingly random images to create a sort of visual tone-poem that is unmatched in modern studio filmmaking. Hmmm, maybe, but inasmuch as Ledger was really doing a crap impersonation of Nicholson’s Joker, I think Snyder may be taking Leto all the way back to the OG.

Seems crazy to think that anyone could cheat on Uma Thurman, though I’m reminded of the best bathroom wall graffiti I ever saw:

Excellent! The original suffered some bland characters, but the conceit was genius, and well-executed, and it delivered on the scares, action, and the cool reveals.

But why is Nick Nolte in the video?

Of course you would.  Nearly every movie is made better by seeing it in a theater--not just because it requires your undivided attention, but also because the social element adds to the experience.  I saw Blair Witch in the theater, and people were freaking the fuck out, I thought I was going to have a anxiety attack,

I feel so bad for Villeneuve--he thought he was improving upon Lynch’s Dune, when in fact he was just making Syfy’s Dune.  Fuck a TV movie.

It’s beyond high time someone finally made a Pinocchio movie.

There’s Geena Davis, then there’s Earth Girls are Easy Geena Davis, boing.

BACKGAMMON.

BACKGAMMON.

I thought she was--her emotion for him seemed legitimate, which makes the ultimate betrayal that much more brutal.
