There are a lot of supercilious people here who think that because they didn’t need actual evidence to believe all the accusations about Louis CK that they’re better than the people that did.

There are also a lot of supercilious people here who think that because there were ONLY a million rumors around the man with few

On the one hand I agree with you about Popcorn, but on the other hand I struggle to see how it could be an appropriate soundtrack choice in a Nordic noir serial killer film. Here is the 1969 original, by Gershon Kingsley, who is now 94.

Do you also find Harry Hole’s friend Biggus Dickus’s name wisible?

Considering that you called the delightful “Popcorn” a stupid song, I’ve got a feeling that this film is a cinematic masterpiece.

I think I see the problem. When you’re sending clues to someone to dare them to stop you from committing a crime, you don’t send them to the police. They don’t know what to do.
You send them straight to Batman.

It’s among the greatest.

Shit, yeah. “Part of Your World,” “Under the Sea,” “Poor Unfortunate Souls,” and “Kiss the Girl” all feel like you could make a case for them somewhere in the top 20 Disney songs. The first 3 might all belong in the top 10.

Oh, yeah, “Stay Awake” is a frequent star on my ipod. Reportedly the Disney people were mad at the Tom Waits’ version of “Heigh Ho”, saying they had not authorized any lyric changes— how could he make the song so dark and creepy???

I hum I Wanna Be Like You to myself all the time. Prima and Harris sound like they’re having a blast (didn’t know they recorded completely separately).

A lot of Disney movies would kill to have a musical number as funny, clever and memorable as “Bear Necessities”. But The Jungle Book? Jungle Book blasts out “Bear Necessities” and then five minutes later tops it (or matches it or whatever you personally think) with “I wanna be like you”.

For me, it’s The Little Mermaid. Menken and Ashman were amazing together and the soundtrack is great from top to bottom. Even throwaways like ‘Les Poisson’ are great!

I know that that’s a line from the episode but... it’s kinda true, right?

Stupid Sexy Lin-Manuel Miranda!
