I know that India has a lot of TV shows and movies about the Indian pantheon.
I’m curious if there’s a particular complaint about non-Indian depictions of these gods, or if the same groups are also against depicting the gods in Indian tv shows too
Is “modders” in the headline really accurate? We’re not talking about buffing characters or boosting drop rates. We’re talking about bypassing security checks so people can play this for free. That fall pretty squarely into piracy, right?

A case like this where people now have access to a free-to-use offline alpha of Diablo II remaster is a lot like seeing a screener of a movie or an unreleased album get torrented. Something that they were hoping to sell is now getting passed around for free. Not in the final state, but still free.

Well, this is one of the big reasons why.
The other big throwback is the ability to level up your trade posts and collect income from a chest which reminded me a lot of the way you’d level up your town in ACII.
I don’t get it. The idea that you can take an older version of an existing game and just make it yourself and as long as you don’t take any money for it, then it’s suddenly not you stealing some one else’s intellectual property.
If you want to make your own game inspired by the gameplay of OG LoL, then go for it. But…
