Last year would have been great. World Series and Super Bowl were both on Fox. This year they’re trying out some new Live Shows (like NBC did). Yay?

AppleTV is the best, IMO, because its the most balanced (and has a fast guide). The PS4 is good too (way better than the PS3). The PS4 and PS3 (and AppleTV) support HDMI-CEC, so you don’t need to use the DualShock to control the app (I use my old Comcast remote for the PS3/PS4)

Dang - only live local you get is Fox ( Tampa gets SLIM tiers). Bummer, probably the worst one of all, especially since this year’s sports offering is really heavy towards NBC (olympics, super bowl, etc).

Also, I don’t have to sign into any channel’s app with YTTV to watch on the go. I simply have the ability to watch through the same app. The TV Everywhere is wherever I have my phone.

Because you could (though I haven’t tried) pick one of these services and only use mobile devices. Same can’t be said with Comcast or Cox. Also, no contracts or cancellation fees. And you still get the same access to TV Everywhere apps that support a cable provider login. So, you’re kinda right, but it is still

PlayStation Vue has a guide (better than most, IMO). Lets you scroll through all the channels, and see what’s coming up - several days in advance now, IIRC. Some platforms that support Vue even have channel buttons to quickly surf the guide, but I prefer just picking my favorite channels and shows and ignoring the

PlayStation Vue definitely has that. There’s a “Start from beginning” option for all DVRd shows, but some non-DVR shows allow the same feature. It’s been the best thing in the world for my viewing habits because I’m always late to start a show.

It’s the local affiliates that seem to define streaming deals with the major networks. These services can only really start with the areas that these stations are owned by the network, which are typically larger metro areas. PlayStation Vue eventually broke off a separate pricing structure for those who couldn’t get

Which is weird that the author didn’t mention it at all.

Where is your market? I have live CBS on PlayStation Vue (South Florida), but NBC, ABC, Fox are on-demand only. If you don’t get them, it’s typically because the local affiliate is an independent entity from the actual network. Your local affiliates would need to be operated or owned by the network (which is the case

What about watching these services on your mobile devices? These services are ISP agnostic, so unless you’re stuck in your house, that comparison starts to fall apart.

Okay, I’ve been on Vue for a while, and I can say a few things.

And not a single mention of Playstation Vue - the most fully-featured service so far? Sure there are geo-restrictions and mobile-limitations, but it pretty much has all of the same channels (and more), DVR, and it’s available on almost every platform (except Xbox and smart tvs - save for that new FireTV set from

Seems like Zod is just a hallucination of Superman, used to keep Supergirl busy in a fight, but he gets beat and is down for the count when she has to face Louis...err... Rhea at the end. So many people pissed about how nerfed Superman seems in this show (mind controlled twice now, in both finales). I think he could

*crushed (IIRC)

Sony’s PS Vue gets my vote. Box of choice is AppleTV 4 - IMO the best platform for Vue.

I just can’t get over the hair. How is that even brushed?

MAKE AMERICA 48 AGAIN!

Finished the second season of Humans (imported from Channel 4) before watching a single episode of Westworld (have still only seen 2 episodes of WW). Both seasons picked up in October and ended in December, so I’d hardly say either one is in the other’s shadow.
