Yeah, but it got Holy Fuck a mention— so that's pretty good.

What?
Actually, because of where Naboo is, it is traveling faster than other parts of the galaxy, so, according to relativity, time is going slower. So what seems like 50 years to us on Earth, is only 5 years on Naboo, or something. Naboo moves at, like 100 parsecs.
I had to break Tidelands up into two viewings to finish it. I was sure it was going to go someplace really, really bad and just couldn't stand the idea of watching said bad thing and going to bed, so I stopped mid-way through and finished it the next night. Relatively happy ending, I guess.
You should try it again. It makes a lot of sense; you just really have to pay attention to the begging (credits and all). I think it takes at least a second viewing for the shot immediately following the credits to bring the whole thing together.

I was also impressed with Wolf Creek, mainly because I had no idea what it was supposed to be about when I watched it. My friends and I just knew it was a horror film that had come recommended to one of them, so we popped it in. They do a great job with the aliens misdirection at the beginning (which had us kind of…
If he did that, how did the cop shoot him?
You're so tough and big and strong.
This is one of the worst threads I've ever read on this site. Where did they come from, bringing this intentional (I hope) misreading and quoting-out-of-context form of debate?
Can't wait to get this! I know I'm not saying much or contributing more than an enthusiastic agreement, but there it is.
Ohhhh Big Daddy!
That's kind of what I was thinking, too. The "what you started" line is vague. Vader killed the Emperor— that seems to have been starting something, too.
What Darth Vader started was the destruction of the Empire when he hucked the Emperor into that space pit… in space.
