I'd specifically named Myst at first, but the insertion of the live actors reminded me more of 7th Guest, so I just mashed them into FMV games. Either way, it doesn't look like great special effects. It would have been better if they'd just made CG characters and made it a cartoon. This just looks weird.

It looks like a high quality FMV CD-ROM game.

They sound green and a little saggier, though. Saggy in that "I've lived the hell out of my life, and I have no regrets" kind of way. The grin on the rough, weary-looking woman pouring coffee at a highway-side café seems "squanchy" to me.

But the pilot-RIO relationship was central to the film. The conscience in the back seat, the Goliath to Maveric's Davy, damn it!
