We do? I thought 4x4 referred to a pickup, mainly, and usually a specialized type of four wheel drive pickup that is jacked up at least a little for off road action. ATVs are four wheelers 'round these parts (or three wheelers, if you have something a little retro and dangerous).

-Eight isn't enough.
…..
-Three isn't a magic number.

-Not a tale of two cities.

Don't forget about discussions about video game companies being able to remove game content after the games were purchased. Why isn't anyone talking about that??

As long as the top of the line model is the iEye Captain.

For a while, the trend of phones was to get smaller and smaller. I just thought we'd hit a point of diminishing returns on smallness, not head back toward hugeness. People have regressed to wearing their phones in holsters like they had to with the bricks and the original motorola flip phones that couldn't fit in a

I totally forgot about "See My Vest," but now that I've been reminded, it might be my favorite (as long as it includes "I really like the vest!" "Yes, I gathered…").

"That feels nice…"

I prefer my jokes written with quotes and arrows around them and maybe some text to make it clear that it's a joke:
"[JOKE]—>'Carson Plummer'<—[JOKE], which I say jokingly…"

Well, right, but anyone can make and sell their stuff with no trademark to infringe upon.

I'm from an agrarian state, and it's bizarre to listen to our local guy interview the coach of our university after a loss and, in somber tones, have to say something about "Jensen soy bean hybrids" or drop in a line or two on the topic corn or tractors. They do this win or lose, but it's pretty damn funny when he's

If you mean that they're calling a true reverse play an "end around," then they are are dickbags to be sure!

I knew that son of a bitch was pro-ebola.

You may have noted that Simms has remained suspiciously quiet on the pervasive problems with the quality and funding of inner-city schools in predominantly African-American neighborhoods. Surely he should get that issue fixed before taking a stand by not saying the name of Washington's professional football team.

They already lost their trademark, so it's going to cost them money in lost revenue at the very least.

For several months, college games broadcast on Fox Sports at my parents' house didn't have anything but stadium sounds and, for some reason, the sound effects for the animated on-screen graphics. It was AMAZING. The feed was always live, so stadium announcements came through and there were no announcers. I don't know

I always conflate the titles of EoE and Death/Rebirth. I think of EoE as an objective/external view of Shinji's subjective experience we see at the end of the series. That's my take on it anyway. I liked the original end of the series because it was pretty experimental (probably because of budget issues… but still).

I just pretend it ends with the searchlight scene. Everything after that is just part of a crappy sequel.

I agree. I thought it was great at the time and was a little dumbfounded by the extreme negativity of the reactions to it. I get that it kind of diminished Bane to some extent, but, other than that, it was a good time.

It seems like I got 1.1 from Netflix and didn't even finish it. Coincidentally, NGE just came up in a conversation at work. A guy said that he hadn't seen the series but had seen one of the movies. I just told him to watch the series and the second movie that reimagines the end. Are the movies as bad as I think I
