I still use free yahoo mail as my main email, but then, when I need to look good I give them one from my domain like Ellis suggested.

I use my laptop. My desktop has 8gb of ram for heavy photo or video editing, but other than that, my laptop is a better machine. It's older too, which is strange... but I skimped on the desktop, so that's what happens.

Where's the "Both" option? Mah laptop runs 32-bit, the desktop where I do all my major video and photo work is 64.

@Prakhar Bahuguna: I'd point you to some of the math functions built into MS word, but... yeah, best to stick with handwritten notes...

@phoenix: +1 on that. I work as an assembler, and there's a clause in our policy like that... but so long as I don't write programs having to do with our product range, I'm in the clear. Definitely worth reading and re-reading a few times so you know you're good to go.

@nialltl: Agreed, if you know how to make MD5 hashes, it's worth typing sha1 into the prompt instead of md5... for things you need secured anyhow.

To be honest, as much as I understand the "what if iTunes changes the mp3?" and "now everyone's going to use [lifehacker.com] with this!" problems, this is a very good way to do this if you come up with something on your own. Install a program that'll make MD5 hashes on your computer (it's good to have one for
