While I agree it could use a little bit of work, I can't help but smile when I see something like this hacked together in the .NET framework. :)

@motang: Reading fail.

The only thing on my external hard drive is what the windows backup puts on it, but for personal files (everything under Documents, Pictures, etc.) I also keep everything synced between my desktop and laptop, giving me two copies and a backup of all those files. Much as I hate to say it, microsoft's live sync works

@ub: Drain it while it's hot, or use soap. Or both. #cooking

@Sanjay: Even without it, the .NET Framework comes standard now in Windows, and Visual Basic is a fairly easy language when it comes to syntax. #teachyourself

I'm on a family plan through AT&T with 500 minutes... I'd love to do this, but... we really don't use the minutes we have. #googlevoice

@BIGE1312: Hey, if a 10 year-old padawan can build one, so can I. Or, I can pay him to finish it for me. #plasmaknife

@Guy Evans: It uses the exploit mentioned.

I guess pointing out that blackra1n has been doing that already is a bad thing? Cool to hear they got it going, but...

@happinessiseasy: Seconded. Clicked the button, made it ra1n, installed Cydia.

I usually just "borrow" a couple from work, but this is a cool idea.

@smackswell: Last time I checked, Pizza Hut still doesn't have any option to go to the full site though. Glad to have the option here on lifehacker and over at gizmodo, but some places are just a little iPhone-stupid.

As much as I dislike the mobile website for Wachovia, (a mobile-formatted login page that takes you to the desktop site) it's great to be able to pull up my account from anywhere, especially since I moved up from the 1st-gen iPhone to the 3GS.

So the real question here is, are they gonna be pumping out the same carrier file I downloaded a week ago, or am I gonna be screwed until I get home from work?

@ANOPRAX: agreed. tried using another phone first too, that one told me service denied when I tried sending an mms. :/

@Mark Lee: Strange as it seems, I still use Apple headphones... with sony bud spliced onto them. so I get the remote with the little chip, the headphones I like, and people who don't already know are always surprised that the wire leads to an iPhone.

@DiscoZombie: Alright, but for people who don't dislike Windows, it's a good use of one of the new features, wouldn't you say?

@DiscoZombie: Ahh, sounds like the Windows 7 libraries thing finally has a use! :D

@zmnatz: Still waiting to see what Saurik was gonna do to make upgrades easier...
