Sometimes you realize how freaking lucky you are when you see what other people have to go through to lead a normal life.

I always loved this image... it was on the cover of some cassette tapes, right? I forget which one it was but this was such an iconic scene and I remember my dad buying these blank tapes back in the day and having that cover... It was great.

@resonance462: My expert prediction is that this is going to exactly happen. '11 will be cancelled entirely and they'll work on '12. Or, if there is any release, it will be a $20 "NBA Playoffs" edition released in April similar to the March Madness edition of 2K's college bball title.

Big deal, they're finally making a good decision. The game was not ready, they should be praised for doing this, not criticized for taking a loss.

The UI ... it's all the UI. The UI blows. Re-do it from the start. I ranted on this in your other XBL post today.

Bleet... Android default weather app for me. It displays a 5 day forecast, the days forcast hour by hour, and it's all I need. Anything beyond 5 days is usually wrong anyway.

@UGAdawg: Android 1.6 amirite?

They have to completely remake their UI and reconsider wtf they're doing before XBL interface will be remotely useable. The system sucks now, maybe this one will be an improvement... but the whole New XBL Experience was a joke. Felt great at first, then you realize that it fixed none of the problems (ie, slow

@abates25: Until all of the devices are out, I am hoping that Giz does not recommend any.

@autob0n: Seems like with the Samsung Galaxy series (the Fascinate on VZW if I remember correctly), changing the Bing provider was significantly more difficult than installing the Google app... because the built in search in Android would revert to Bing. It was a major complaint of the review of the phone on Giz &

@norazi: You shouldn't have to root your phone to change the search provider...

I'd really be interested in this, but I am so fucking pissed about it having the Bing branding... Not because I really even care about Bing results or anything, but just because I want to have the default settings on Android, and that, by default, uses Google. If I want to switch to Bing, then I would, but I don't

@Settings: For your own sake, you should avoid writing comments on the internet about things that you think can be reduced to "a picture of a plane and an oil rig."

@Settings: Even still, Iranian nuclear ambitions predate any contemporary American or British involvement in the Middle East. The Shah sought nuclear weapons in the 1950s. The nuclear aspirations of Iran are older than Iran's actual government by some 20 years.

@redman042: I don't think that there has ever really been a dichotomy between "hack the enemy computers" and "ground invasion."

@Ian Logsdon: Yeah, and Adolf Hitler was the founder of Volkswagen.

@Settings: Just to return slightly to reality, "dating back to when the US & UK decided to send troops to the Middle East," didn't start with Tony Blair or George Bush. For one, the UK has "had troops in the middle east" for about 200 years.

Yes, accused. What other accusations has Iran made lately?
