Speaking of FIBA — do either NBA 2K11 or Elite 11 have the FIBA teams?

@iatw: The FIBA officiating is also so much better than NBA officiating, it makes the games much better. The NBA product is better now than it was 6+ years ago, but it's still sorely missing real officiating and balanced play. The extreme focus on isolation is boring.

"Al Davis buys 12.8 million coins in Madden Ultimate Team, spends it all on bronze packs."

@Strangelove: PEople said the same about Triple Play, which was the gold standard on 16-bit consoles, and had one good year on 32-bit generation. They took a chance with MVP rebrand and it paid off.

Looks okay. I'm cautiously optimistic for Elite 11 because it's setting out to change so much. I also have so much faith in this team in turning around a product.

This is pretty much the story of my life at work. It's a balance between who can say no and who can't.

.... Dear Mr. Stringer, can I take some of the pills that you're on so that I too can ride the .... "3D Express."

Stephen Hawking is a pretty smart guy, and I'm not that smart. But I always take a crude solace in the fact that I could beat him in a game of basketball.

@hizzlebizzle1138: Yeah and getting shot in the process. Maybe I'm crazy, but I don't see Discovery Networks changing their fall line up because of James Lee's requests.

We couldn't have crashed this into some Taliban stronghold in the mountains of Waziristan... then blamed the dumb American college kids!? C'mon NASA, think CREATIVELY!

@battra92: I'm not a big tea drinker, but my roommate is a tea snob, and he'd smite you for that!

@phamm: I was... joking

While 90-degree tea may be the ideal temperature to drink tea at, you should let the water reach a boil first and then let it cool to 90. Ideally, actually, you should boil it twice and then let it cool.

@Ryan Goldstein: I counter your evolutionary argument with a sociological one: before preparing for a hunt, battle, or some sort of planned period of extended physical exertion, it's likely that communities would "warm up" for the hunt/battle, which has carried down throughout generations into our "pre-exercise"

I do very, very basic stretches and for no extended period of time. Basically, I stretch out my calf for about 10 seconds. Then I run.

I wouldn't carry my iPod touch with me everywhere I go, but they are still neat gadgets.

@Windowlicker: I am not able to do that all night anymore.

@Chewblaha: I hope you can't use your home avatar.
