No love for Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, here? I’ve picked the dojo fight, because of the weaponry!

I am glad to hear this sentiment. I get bored with space stories. It’s got me a little bit tired of the idea of the MCU, because I find pretty much any story with Thanos too big to be interesting. I think that they’re too impersonal.
Gotta say, Aja has a way with movement in his composition that is very hard to match. The panels are almost jarring, they’re so full of movement (when they show movement). It’s really great!
Loved all of that!
RIP
I didn’t mean to refute you on the murder issue. Your initial posts made it seem like his crimes were more run-of-the-mill chicanery (soothsaying/homeopathy) and not prosecutable. That’s probably not what you meant, as you were focused on demonstrating that he is probably not liable for murder (based on the evidence…
His claims included that he was a doctor, that he developed cancer vaccines, and that he’d cured his own cancer. He’s still not legally in the clear. The woman who called the authorities said that the dirt “made her stomach burn”. That probably takes it out of the vague claims realm, as well, because it did…
This article is very focused on the dirt, but does mention that he had over 25,000 pills including powerful painkillers. He also claimed to have developed cancer vaccines and cured his own cancer. The dirt is the least of these
The “powerful painkillers” that he was giving out may be.
Well, on an individual basis, he’s bad, but the anti-vaxxers put lots of people at risk at once.
This guy was really selling drugs along with his dirt. The article mentions “powerful painkillers”
His actions are hardly any different than a soothsayer prescribing homeopathic remedies.
In addition to this, you are drawing from the Roth to give income that would be in your top tax bracket, lowering your effective rate in each individual year. If you withdraw from a Roth first, you are paying your bottom rate on that money (which effectively negates the value of a Roth)
Man, I loved Special! I basically came here to see if it made the list at all. So great!
I find that lots of people feel like Annihilation leaves too much unanswered, but I found it to be very satisfying as a stand-alone book. I prefer it over both the others (although I liked them)
Wow. You are the finest casting agent ever!
Joss Whedon writes overly talky movies. It’s fine for some things, but his action scenes aren’t strong enough or personal enough for TMNT.
I came here to make snarky remarks and then read a very insightful article.
Oddly enough, my best friend got that aircraft carrier in ‘87 or ‘88.
You are correct. My best friend had the aircraft carrier. 1987 or 1988.
