He won’t beat Cornyn. He almost, but didn’t, beat one of the most despised Senators today in a red state. There is not the same level of Cornyn hate in Texas that there is Cruz hate. Beto has a better shot at President than he does beating John Cornyn in the Senate.

Their argument falls apart because of the songs and how the day went. I’ve known plenty of white families who picked cotton during and after the Great Depression out in the western portion of Texas, so in that setting, it doesn’t seem quite as bad. In practice, this is absolutely not what happened with this school

So I should get upset if i go to another country and see merchandise with English on it if the primary language spoken there is not?

That looks like queso a buddy of mine made in college when he didn’t drain any of the grease out of the meat...

I missed the original Playstation era (upgraded from SNES to original Xbox). I went back and tried to play the original Resident Evil a couple of years ago and got so annoyed the inventory management that I put it down probably less than an hour in. I keep thinking about going back, but inventory management is a

The perpetual elections of Steve King by Iowa make me question why we as a nation care so much about the state of Iowa as it relates to presidential primaries...

Maybe I read this wrong, but how is a bill that increases punishment for actually killing someone anti-BLM? Is BLM officially in favor of killing now? Because I feel like that’s a game-changer for the movement if it is.

KFC, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut are all owned by the same company and all missing. I’m sure there’s a $$$ reason for that...

Brief update on that, I heard last night all cafeteria workers at Johnson Space Center have been laid off. But you know, vacation and all, right?

Even if Trump gets around to signing the bill, there are 2 big issues here still.

Pretty sure it’s been passed by both houses, but not signed by Trump yet.

I think it varies a lot by setup. I took the SAT once and the ACT twice. SAT I took in a class room, no empty seats. Same for first time ACT. Second time ACT I took in a college library at the tables in the main area. I think those we may have had space around us then, since we shared table space (maybe skip a seat?)

To be fair, that’s in west Texas, and it was probably already 70 degrees again because of our schizo weather.

I guess I’m the only one that read the headline and pictured the tree physically sticking up Herbie Husker...

I was having trouble finding this answer earlier - are you limited to 1 local player in an online game? Seems like you should be for general matchmaking, but if I want to specifically play with friends, I wasn’t sure.

It’s fragile enough, with a high replacement cost. It’s also much bigger. I let my 4 year old play the Switch docked. I will NOT let him play handheld away from our couch. Only recently have I started letting my 8 year old start playing more in handheld mode, but he’s often just as happy playing some random game on

I can’t get past the guinea pig-test tube line. The rest at least sort of match the intent of the original saying. They clearly have no idea either 1) what a test tube is for; or 2) what a guinea pig is intended for in that phrase.

Every since I’ve been married, I’ve typically turned subtitles on. It’s mandatory after kids. Wife and kids start a conversation whenever (or are just loud sometimes), and so many cutscenes aren’t pausable, so subtitles are the only way to keep up while still trying to address what’s going on around you in real life.

Plenty of opportunity in STEM fields. Maybe what you say is true for those not going to college. There was also never much opportunity for many of the liberal arts degrees that are flooding the market more than in the past. And if you’re going to a fancy private school to get your elementary education or history

Score? Star Wars. I used to go to the library and check out the tapes all the time.
