So, did you hate the book? It’s tough to tell if your problems are with the story as a whole or mostly with its implementation on screen.

Unless you’re yelling at the boss or a specific important person, I’ve not seen this be “a firing offense in most corporate workplaces.” A talking to with HR? Sure. A pattern of consistent and persistent verbal abuse is different, but occasional blow ups don’t tend to get most people fired.

Why launch a new imprint with something that sounds like it’s canon?

I enjoy both shows, and I have trouble imagining a Timeless Hedy Lamarr episode being a more fun ride than the Legends of Tomorrow episode.

I feel like more and more the writers are trying to make Barry more like late 90s-early 2000's Wally West in the comics. The extreme speed this week is one example, as well as lending speed to others (also briefly dating Linda Park). The “my lightning rod” bit was a big thing with Wally and Linda back then like it

I’m pretty sure they can do that for external interfaces, not that it’s practical to enforce. What they pay people and how much their overhead may cost is proprietary and technically up to the company if they think it’s ok to share.

To be fair, look at the right foot on the new cover and the left foot on the older cover. The heel is totally different. The new one is like a high heeled shoe type with skinny heel and separation. The old one is more solid looking, but maybe that’s just shadowing.

Wait, so all of this “is on the digital version of the film” - is that becaues it’s a digital exclusive or because we don’t know yet for sure what all is on the blu-ray?

I enjoyed the casino scene. My main problems were in some of the handling of Killmonger. I felt like he was a little inconsistent as a character in his actions/attitude. I dig the sympathetic villain, though.

The primary focus of this article is endurance events, which there is data showing that there’s not a reason for women to do be expected to do less.

In the canon Leia comics they had people flying N-1 starfighters without a droid. They noted it was more difficult due to the lack of a droid assist. Now doing hyperspace calculations I think would be difficult without a droid. There’s some wacky Force-assisted navigation, or there’s an astromech shell somwhere

T’Challa is sympathetic, just not nearly so much as Killmonger. In fact, if Killmonger wasn’t written with an asshole personality, I’d argue there’d be even more people siding with him over T’Challa than there already are. If he spent less time running his mouth in general and destroying the flowers right after his

I’ve said before that they intentially made Killmonger have several asshole moments to help the audience from taking his side too much. Especially right after his vision. Building up all of this sympathy for the character, for him to wake up and be a complete jerk and burn all of the flowers. If he had just walked out

I was on a break from the book when she was in Detective, so I was totally clueless as to what her history was with Batman once she was in Checkmate later. Thanks for filling the gaps!

I really enjoyed this movie. Wakanda was visually impressive and beautiful. The acting was great. The casting was great. The music was a wonderful blend of traditional African music and modern hip hop beats and effects. A few things:

There’s really not that much humor in this movie. Honestly, I felt like it was one of the more serious Marvel movies in a while. There are good and bad things about that, but it’s still a great movie.

Mat in the first Sanderson book was pretty bad, and Sanderson admits it. He got better in the next couple of books.

Shockwave’s alt mode looks like some random non-official transformation I would add in when I was a kid to make an impromptu triple-changer. Looks really weird for the actual alt mode...

Yeah, I thought that was weird, too. The rest are different classes from what is shown below.

Yes and yes, but right now we don’t know enough about the story to talk intelligently about how it would have helped. Where/how did he get the gun? Had he shown any prior warning signs? There are no interviews with acquaintances and no info on his gun. Everyone acts like if we had easier access to mental health
