Throughout most of the scene, it looked incredible. However, as he sat there at the beginning, his head/eyes/something looked really weird. My kid even vocally said “what’s wrong with Yoda” when he first appeared. Once he started moving until he was gone, it was awesome though.

For taking the time to make him look so cool and unique, he seems to basically just waffle between being messenger guy and angry reaction guy.

It’s really cool that the Cuckoos don’t always speak in unison and seemingly disagree with one another from time to time. It’s a bit disappointing that there are only three of them, but honestly having five telepaths running around probably would have been overkill.

Seriously, if there’s one of these close to you, go check it out.

Loving the Alamo Drafthouse / Movie Tavern kind of places. Tickets tend to be a little lower than the big chains, full service food and drink (including alcohol) to your seat during the movie at the push of a button, and the popcorn and drinks are more reasonably priced than the big movie theaters. Also, at Alamo

I recently moved out of a house that, during the worst of the summer, could not get down below 80 degrees until about 9:30-10:00 PM, no matter how much it ran during the day. Was just about to consider dumping money into window upgrades when we moved.

Sounds like you live in a small apartment in the northern half of the country. Try a house down in south Texas and see what hellish summer bills are.

Spoke too soon!

Yeah, but that sort of talk apparently is just for those of us in the grays.

Hoping that’s not the case. Full Frontal and Last Week Tonight are required weekly viewing in our house. I know nothing about TBS show ratings, I just assumed this one was doing good enough.

I really think this is them just talking about the nightly shows. You’d have a point if John Oliver was also listed, but like you said, he’s not. Oliver and Bee are the two biggest political commentators on a “late night” sort of show, but since they’re weekly (and not even every week), I don’t think they quite fit

In the entertainment industry, perception can be reality. Can’t have the negative light shine on the employer. Evidence and proof are for the courts.

What’s funny is I was literally thinking as I downloaded this week’s book a few hours ago that it seemed like not as many bigger names were dying in this new Injustice 2 series...

So do you actually read the things you complain about going away? It sounds like most people found America to be pretty bad, despite starring a quality character. Even with marketing, if the book is bad, it won’t sell great.

I had zero problem with Luke dying, and pretty much expected it. The broken, bitter Jedi was believable in concept. My problem was the flashbacks. I have trouble believe the same guy that saw good in Darth Vader and the chance for redemption would have gone so far as to ignite his lightsaber over his sleeping NEPHEW,

The fight scene was pretty awesome, but honestly my favorite part of it was probably the quick punch through the head of the final one. A nice touch and something different.

It’s nice if they’re actually considering the use cases for it. I have a Show and it drives me crazy. Why can’t I keep my timers persistent on the screen? I don’t want to see the random other crap scrolling through when I have an active task. Same for recipes. They pitch it to use for stuff like that, but after a few

I’m fine with Luke dying and his overall initially broken state. My main problem with the handling of Luke was the whole Ben Solo flashback. We’re supposed to believe that the same guy who saw the potential for good in Darth Vader, the father he never actually knew had his saber on and ready to strike down his

In one of the film’s funniest scenes, Chewbacca forgoes eating a roasted Porg when a bunch of other Porgs stare at him with horror. We don’t think Chewie is done eating meat, he’s just got a soft spot for Porgs. And who wouldn’t?

I liked the movie better than most of my friends, but it did have issues.
