Just picked up Awakening, but haven’t started it yet. Conquest was my first FE game and I’m part-way through Birthright now. I’ve also got the old GBA title going on the Wii U, too.

Yeah, that probably would be the smart way, especially for my first Fire Emblem game. Conquest is the one the wife got me for Christmas, though. Great game, but from what I hear, Birthright would’ve been a better introduction to the franchise.

PS4 and Vita. PSX classics from the PS Store for PS3 are also playable on the Vita. Unless you’re more interested in your old PS3 games than new PS4 games, I think this is your best option. Also, if you’re a trophy/achievement kind of guy, the PS2 ports on PS4 have trophies, while the PS2 ports on PS3 do not.
