This was the novel that killed my rapid consumption of Star Wars novels. Because of it, I have probably 3-4 books from around that era sitting on my book shelf, still unread (including the much-maligned Darksaber). It took over 12 years before I read another Star Wars novel, when I got back to some later Zahn stuff,

Did I miss something? Does “queer” mean both homosexual AND bisexual these days? Because she’s canon bi.

Except the pregnant woman didn’t die. The mother died later with baby in her arms after being shot in the back. The death of the baby led to the Governor getting killed by one of his own people.

Except he did rationalize it. He said in the finale that the first hit was free (I think it was Rick who did it), and said something to the effect that there would be consequences if it continued. Daryl went nuts, and Negan carried through with his threat. Rationale was that if he doesn’t carry through on his threats

I feel like judging the quality of a well thought out comment on the gender of the author is probably the most sexist thing I’ve read today.

Would love to see a write-up incorporating Christmas season changes. Not sure when they started, but we saw the Nightmare Before Christmas stuff incorporated a few years ago in late November.

Sam didn’t just all of a sudden freak out after walking through zombies for no reason. He saw a kid zombie, probably one of his friends since the jacket was relatively clean. Seeing someone you know as a walker is enough to freak out most of the adults - it makes total sense for Sam to lock down.
