Easy. The Toyota Prius.

More eurobeat! I swear, this stuff adds another 100 HP to any car you play it in.

I don’t know. That picture makes it look near pristine. I also love that shade of silver.

Mazda just begun selling brand new 13B crate motors, from what I’ve heard. All my other rotor-head friends are going nuts over it.

Save your tail light lenses. I searched for 6 months and I finally found a better-than-the-one-I-already-had-but-still-moldy-and-scratched example in Texas off of a wrecker car!

If only they’d do the same for first-gen RX-7's.

It sounds as if it was driven very conservatively. If that’s the case, then the “carburetor work” likely isn’t the culprit for the poor running of that engine, rather it would be carbon buildup inside the housings and on the rotors. If that’s the case, then all the seals inside the engine are likely badly worn and the

Y’all are wrong. This is the best sounding car on the planet.

Personally? I’ve never overheated, but I have hit temperatures that I’ve not felt totally safe with.

It’s not just Vettes that are bought and then subsequently never driven. You’d be fairly lucky to find any 20~ year old Lamborghini, Ferrari or, heck, even Lotus with more than 1,000 miles on the odometer - especially the ones with manual transmissions.

It can vary from car to car, so be warned. My friend whose RX-7 went to 303K consumed a fair bit more oil than mine. I think he went through a quart every 1000 miles or so.

Do it, David. Get one.

Don’t be worried. At the end of the day; it’s just another engine. There’s a lot of bullsh*t floating around on the internet. From my experience, a naturally-aspirated rotary can be just as long lasting as any piston engine if you take care of it.

Why do I get a feeling that the owner of said Delorean waited his entire Delorean-owning life to get a speeding ticket for going 88 MPH...

If it flew, then just mmaayybbee it could...

This isn’t that crazy. I often think about completely custom-making an entire engine from scratch.

I prefer the twitchy-ness of the FD over the C5 personally. I love the feeling of having a car on the tips of it’s toes.

I agree to some degree. If you take out that engine; you just have a slightly-smaller, slightly better-built C5 Corvette.

Not that you could anyway. No rear seats. xD
