LS swapping an FD just leaves you with a slightly smaller Corvette C5. The point of owning an RX-7 is for the rotary. :D

Not all about straight line performance. FD’s are very lightweight cars and they corner as if they were on rails, thanks to the 50/50 weight distribution.

I champion the Mazda RX-7 FD.

There is only one correct answer.

Easy. My 1984 Mazda RX-7.

Beats me. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

One small step for Man, one gigantic laugh for alienkind.

How much? I’ll take one. Give me.

Not necessarily. Not on a first gen or naturally aspirated second gen, at least. If the car had been properly maintained throughout it’s life (and by the looks of it; it has), then those apex seals wouldn’t need doing for quite some time.

Dammit. Teasing more 1st Gen RX7's after I just bought my own!

There is only one answer.

Thank you. :D

I’ve had no issues with the RX7 in terms of reliability so far. She’s been wonderful and has yet to miss a beat.

Thank you! :D

Agreed. I love her. It took me two years and countless test drives to find the right one.

I had a red Cooper S. I know your pain. It’s why I sold it and immediately bought a far more reliable car just a few months ago.

New Car Recommendation: 2017 Subaru Impreza 5-Door ($18K-$21K)

The worst thing and the thing I hate the most are the insane amounts of judgemental looks I get from other (plebeian) motorists when I drive down the street in my non-hybrid, old, 2-door, 2-seat, disheveled, rare, oil-burning sports car.

The soul of my ‘84 RX7 goes BRAAP BRAAP.
