Save the world

You've missed the turnaround. It's arguably one of DC's best comics right now, although there's still a certain dated, '90s inspired style to the over-the-top violence.

Hickman earned his lifetime pass early in his career solely for the line

Secret Warriors or Runaways or Morrison's Batman cycle.

Yeah, this is the first GJI in a long time where I might actually need to watch this at home.

Just bottomless bread sticks, you son of a bitch. Eat up.

Only real '90s kids have had their Adamantium skeletons ripped out by Magneto following a series of invasions of privacy by Charles Xavier!

Die, X-CHICKENS!

Oh god, no.

If you have complete runs, eBay is probably your best bet, despite it being such a massive time investment. Certainly, let people around these parts know when you put things up for auction. I've bought from AVCers before.

There's a couple of groups that do this. I've done Operation Gratitude before and I got a really nice email back from the guys who got it.

Yeah the dropoff is really quick there. TMNT suffered a similar one when they realized that there just really wasn't that many characters to base a multi-year line off of.

I think that's what they were going for but they never really say that and how am I going to be a pedant about these things unless they're explicitly laid out?

The more I hear about this the more I am bored by this.

Damn. That is infuriatingly stupid.

Gwenpool is such a weird concept and character.

Also, people in the DC Universe cosplay Joker? Think about that. Imagine going to Comic Con and someone is cosplaying BTK and someone else is dressed up as Manson.

She's certainly been pulled back from where she was two or three years ago when the New 52 Suicide Squad debuted. I expect DC will really try to go for a classic Harley look or relaunch in the next year or two.

If you think Marvel's continuity was unbroken until now, I've got a copy of Genndy Tartakovsky's Luke Cage to sell you.

Critically acclaimed probably wasn't the right phrase. I meant GI Joe probably had a broader, larger, more respected franchise at its peak, with a well performing TV show, a high selling comic book at Marvel, and a particularly influential toy line.
