Hi Hungry, I'm Dad.
Hi Hungry, I'm Dad.
I think a lot of the humor of it is in the very particular way Dennis sees himself. He can't actively say, yes, I'm a rapist but he's desperate, so desperate, to make sure you can't say that either. Mac knows and wants Dennis to say it so bad but they're both so ridiculous and narcissistic and terrible that it gets…
It definitely feels a little like "I can do Squirrel Girl Too!" Also, this retcon about her romance years being written by her mom is just such a go-nowhere retcon.
I believe he returned that catchphrase to Neko Chase although he did really own it.
She's just soaking in that Better off Ted money.
I feel like she's got to be doing something cool enough that I don't know about it.
That's just what you've got to do when you're driving around all the Roger Moores.
His name is Judge.
I forgot i was in the colonies.
It's real weird that of the main cast, Cera, who seemed like the breakout star, is probably the easiest get at this point.
I don't understand the question and I won't respond to it.
It's really weird sometimes having to recommend comics that, at the time, featured a huge twist that now is the book's selling point.
I remember liking Armor Wars ok but it's been a really long time. I could be totally misremembering it.
I think it could have worked, yes. There's a real interesting idea at the heart of the trilogy but it kind of just feels phoned in and incomplete in a lot of ways. It's sort of Ellis at his most mercenary.
It's real weird that Ultimate Galactus is such a straight, hard sci-fi book. Like, it's strange that Ellis' take on one of Marvel's biggest, goofiest villains is just a really dull episode of Star Trek. I think it's one of the Ultimate Universe's first major missteps, although it does have a few bright spots.
It definitely didn't even feel like Image at the time. It's wildly different and even unlike Stephenson's other recent work like They Are Not Like Us, which I also loved. I'll probably give the whole thing a reread before new issues hit.
I am very ready for more Nowhere Men but at this point have mostly forgotten every single thing that happened in Nowhere Men.
Sounds like tonight's aperitif is going to be bleach after that little reminder of the Three Stooges movie.
There it is!
I am going to have to look that up.
