Robin Year One is really really good. It's almost worth buying for the art alone. The only thing holding it back is it is a weird, backdoor tie-in to what was happening in Nightwing at the time. You don't really need to know that but it is a bit distracting come the series' end.

It may not be successful sales-wise but The Omega Men is almost unarguably the smartest, best comic on the market today.

He's definitely become the talent of 2015. It's also the first time in seemingly a long time that the new big comics talent comes out of DC.

The fact that Patton has kind of gone from the nerdy underdog to everyone's kinda out of touch dad on Twitter is most of the issue. He was easy to relate to for so long that his more troubling statements and jokes are harder to take.

No arguments there.

YOU KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT?

He's certainly become an example of THAT atheist guy. The one I'd do anything to avoid despite, y'know, mostly agreeing with him.

So awesome.

That's probably true too. The detective genre wasn't quite as varied in 1994 as it is now.

This was time definitely really, really well spent. In your defense, I'm the guy who read those issues as a kid so many times they basically fell apart, so who's the real winner here.

I was more of a Pepsi Blue man myself.

Every once in a while, I see it go on sale on Comixology and imagine catching up in a binge of Orange Crush and really loud Metallica tapes but I've managed to stop myself every time.

It's mostly fine, more noteworthy for Bendis' name than anything else.

The Grant Morrison issues are really weird. That's when the Anti-Spawn is introduced and Spawn goes to a town where the military is summoning demons to train soldiers to battle the forces of hell. It's very indicative of Morrison's '90s work, particularly what he was doing with Mark Millar.

It's worth reading that whole book for the burning Jim Shooter effigy alone.

No, Kirby was long gone from Marvel by the time they bought the license. Tom Scioli has just always been a Kirby disciple when it comes to art and story. I mean his great American Barbarian is basically a "What if Kamandi was Captain America" issue blown out to a whole series and his other books have all taken big

Remember when ZMF left that drunk voice mail message on the AVC that fleetingly mentioned sexually harassing an unnamed woman? That's the story I need more information on.

*does sigh, press the Unfollow button thing*

How are we going to track which episodes featured the reverse Gilmore Girls Bechdel Test if it never returns? These are the questions that need answered!

Aw, Hatesongs is fun. I like it.
