I've basically devoted the best years of my life to reading comic books and I pretty much agree. Until one of these shows actually does something unique and differentiates itself from the movies and other shows that are coming out week to week, I'm just not that impressed.

I think it's way too clean to be gritty. It's more like if there were a lot of supervillains in an episode of Dallas than anything else.
