Meh. Not the same calibre of contestants overall. Shea wasn't a clear standout talent like Bob, Bianca, Sharon, & Jinxx were.

She was good in that musical and her dancing in the final challenge was amazing. IDK why she couldn't bring it to that next level in the lipsyncs.
But isn't the point that there was no Sharon or Bianca this season? Smart of Ru to mix it up to save S9, IMO.
Sasha killed her first lipsync! She wasn't my favourite finalist (that'd be Pep followed by Trinity) but that was a well deserved win - doing a fresh take on a wig removal is a really clever move. Also, her dad and boyfriend were both adorable especially Papa Velour. As for Shea….how can you be a great dancer, and…
Got to agree. This season has been weak but not because of a lack of drama. There was nothing fun about watching Jinxx get bullied.
If only S9 had been as good all the way through as these last few episodes. They've finally moved beyond the sketch style challenges, and in doing so have allowed some of these queen's talents to come to the fore. Trinity's got funnier and funnier and Peppermint continues to be just super likeable in and out of drag.
very much so- i've rewatched the season it's that good. it's got a stellar cast, with willam, latrice, chad and sharon heads and shoulders above anyone in this current season. and the tasks are varied and manage to bring out the best and the worst in the queens, with a balance between performance and personality.
I was living for Peppermint's first 90s black girl look. And I'm starting to get a serious crush on Valentina in boy-mode..
