That’s actually not true. Irish and Scottish Celtic music is the primary influence of Appalachian/bluegrass music. Country music was also strongly influenced by Celtic music. That doesn’t discount the fact that the most popular forms of American music have Black roots. Why overstate when the truth is just as good?
