You don’t. It’s in the 2nd paragraph.

Very well, then your name shall be . . . “Tushy Galore”!

I want to echo my disapproval of the new io9 main content page

Honestly I’ve given up on io9. I loved the site and the writers and I’ve been reading it daily for over a decade but with this new layout I just can’t anymore. I see what they post by following them on Twitter, but I rarely click through because I’m on my phone. Sometimes (like now) I’ll come across an article from

I hope not. What am I meant to do, go back to AICN?

I’m using Chrome and it’s been doing it for me for a long time.

Chrome too. Whole things fucked.

Yep, comments have been fucked since last week. I posted a similar comment over on Jalopnik and got the same answer from everyone there. Responding to greyed comments is near impossible now.

Notification links are broken independent of browser, but I’ve never attempted being notified, if that’s a thing.

For a short moment there was a io9 Latest underneath the most popular articles but it only showed a few posts in a tile set-up. I think we all just want the Latest and see all option to be able to scroll through the articles.

I also have the same comment issue on Edge and Chrome. So it’s not your browser’s problem (or any browser, for that matter).

I noticed the notification problem this week too. Add that to the long list of minor issues with Kinja.

Speaking of horrible front pages, FIX THE FUCKING WEBSITE

This work but some folks only want io9 content and want to avoid having to wade through all of the gizmodo specific posts . I’ve used the same option for Kotaku for a good while and we basically need an io9.com/latest to address this.

also, has anyone else found that when clicking on notifications, the site doesn’t (eventually) take you to the comment that is being starred or the quote that responded to your comment? Is this a problem with firefox or a general change to the comment notification and highlighting system?

yeah the problem is that they’ve folded all of io9 into Gizmodo. I don’t really care about the latest samsung phone, but I am interested in io9 content... just makes it harder to sort through :(

This is the first step.  They’ll kill io9 all together inside of six months, bet.

Yeah, whatever recent update that must have happened for Kinja has broken the reply-redirect links and that's a bummer in a world where the layout is already a bummer

Also on Firefox, and I’ve been having the same issue with the Notifications here for about the past 3 or 4 days. 90% of the time I don’t even bother anymore.
