It is. Jonah is an inspirational story. If you’re born into moderate wealth in the Northeast and have parents who can grandfather you into a lower ivy and then pull some strings with your incredibly rich uncle to get you onto the campaign trail, you can accomplish anything.

Jonah is probably the most realistically-rendered character on the show. He is the very epitome of “falling up” and white male privilege, and there’s nothing more satisfying than seeing the other characters tear him the fuck down.

Tucker’s the type of guy who quivers in his penny loafers when he walks down the street of a neighborhood that isn’t at least 95% Caucasian.

To a certain type of guy, “chill” is the opposite of “crazy,” where “crazy” = “feelings and demands I don’t want you to have because they require me to contemplate you as a person with your own thoughts and desires.”

God, no. Can you imagine being a daughter raised by someone who doesn’t “believe” rape culture exists? That if something (forbid) did happen to you, your dad would ask you what you were wearing and if you were drinking?

There’s a reason they latch on to the Rolling Stone story like a dog with a bone and just sort of glaze over and wander off if you talk about rape and sa reports that haven’t been discredited.

All the rape-truthers who are gleeful about this keep insisting it’s not an isolated incident, Because Tawana Brawley and also Because Duke Lacrosse. So false rape reports are such an insidious problem they can name one per decade.

Hear, hear! However, let’s take this one step further. I would go so far to say that WOMEN are a myth. I mean, I’m not a woman. Therefore, are there women? I find this so called “women exist” narrative just doesn’t hold water.

I’m sure if the Rolling Story hadn’t been discredited all these tools would completely believe in rape culture, right?
