I’m tearing up RIGHT NOW thinking about the scene where she gets angry and upset with the social workers, and runs off to find her little friend. The range of emotions she displays is breathtaking, and her cathartic moment where she finally breaks down and cries and asks for help feels both authentic and truly earned.

That movie was so much better than I expected and it was almost entirely because of her performance. There was nothing false about it. I was kind of shocked not to see her mentioned (especially above a few of the ones that were).
