Same club - I can’t read at ALL in the car. Even glancing at a map will bring on the puke sweats.
My dad had a GMC truck with a snugtop. He put carpet in the bed of the truck, some pillows - all our toys and shit, and that is where we were quarantined for the entire duration of the trip. He’d slide open the back window (yes he kept it closed for the entire trip) to scream at us to shut the hell up or throw a bag…
Sweet baby jesus... you ever read a post and feel like you are reading your future? Maybe I shouldn’t be saving for a home and just get the trailer? Hmm...
Yeah you just repeated the essence of my very first reply lol.
I do. I’m religious and it has been nothing but an advantage and benefit to me. But people bring their own hangups, culture and myopia to it and warp it to something else completely.
As a Muslim I 1000% agree. It makes NO sense to me. Neither does niqab which isn’t in any Islamic text at all. What to do though? You’re arguing against cultural beliefs and traditions that even utilizing religious text doesn’t work. It’s very frustrating.
I actively dissuade people from even thinking about law school. It is a total scam. If I had a do over I would have gone to nursing school or be a physician assistant. Job security forever and no dilemma about moving out of state and if there is reciprocity with that state’s bar...
Hello me! We should have never gone to law school. :(
It was illegal for me to work more than 18 hours a week when I was in grad school as I was already on federal work study aid. Surely you aren’t suggesting I should have broken the law ?
ooh is it really our old TomatoFace?
No Chick Hearn love? No “This game’s in the refrigerator. The door is closed, the lights are out, the butter’s getting hard, the eggs are cooling, and the Jellooooooooos jigglin!” It’s freaking poetry.
Should have seen this coming when they quietly removed that hand dipped ice cream covered in nuts.
Is pocket sand literally a pocket filled with sand? If it is I’m angry I didn’t think of this when I was a kid, genius.
Exactly! I read that sentence and it was a record scratch-full stop moment. Threw me off completely.
Michelle Pfeiffer finally makes up for her awful turn as Catwoman in Batman Returns.
