You are implying that because they were not “created to specifically target a female audience” they were created to specifically target a male audience, which is likewise not true.

The other possibility is that she actually witnessed some of what Carlson is alleging, and she’s keeping quiet because she knows she’s going to be a key witness. Remember, she’s an ex-lawyer and former litigator, and surely knows how this is going to shake out.

This is definitely true. Something cool I learned from this book is that, when Her Interactive interviewed its young, female consumer base, those girls had no issues with shooting games. They just wanted more motivation, like someone’s sister getting kidnapped.
