The price point sounds nice until you look at the competition. Focus ST is is about 800-1000 more base and has about 50 more horse power. BRZ/86 are 1500-2500 more and are rear wheel drive and critically acclaimed piles of fun. fiesta ST is 3000 or so less, a media darling due to it’s handling, and only 8 HP down. …

The problem with that is that without knowing WHAT caused the first driver to go off track, you can’t be positive another drive is about to follow. Or, even if you suspect brake failure you don’t know that there isn’t a large trail of brake fluid in the braking zone.
