That's Fucking Clown Shoes

I just read that link. Fuck that review with _______.

“Fuck you cocksucker!”

Did CAH hurt your fee-fees? Do you need a safespace?

while that is true, they don’t print their cards on green and red, didn’t try to match the shape/size/etc. they’re not going after people for using the same idea, they’re going after people who are trying to use their specific look to profit off of their name brand recognition.

“Well, I’d change the playtesters then.”

CAH actually does a lot of playtesting to root out cards that are too offensive or simply not funny or unused.

Even then Cards Against Humanity isn’t even an original idea itself. They just made an adult version of Apples to Apples.

Eh, there’s enough of a difference in the game rules that I think CAH can stand alone as its own product far more than the examples in the article do.

And yet, several card games with—let’s just say—extreme similarities to Cards Against Humanity complain that the blockbuster tabletop game for self-described “horrible people” is bullying them over intellectual property.

That’s the thing: it seemed to me as though she had done her research on multiple fronts and was not asking for anyone to manage her feelings. Just more context into the situation. So...? I guess if we’re seeing two completely different things we’re gonna be at an impasse.

Ahhhh okay, so what’s the correct procedure here? Because I think reaching out in conversation is a pretty solid way of attempting to learn.

Only the incredible bias and prejudice of this post’s author.

Totally how I read it too.

OH SHIT! Tilda came with fucking receiptsssssssssss

I’m having difficulty understanding Margaret Cho’s perspective here. It sounds like Tilda was up front about the issues, expressed her desire to do something about it and sought advice from someone who is in a good position to provide it. And Cho’s responses were thoughtful and measured as well. Not sure what got lost

That was heartbreaking to watch. Part of me wishes she didn’t have to sit there and announce that, because the pain is just overwhelming to see... and of course, part of me is glad that if anyone had to do it, it’s someone who clearly cared a great deal for Saunders on a personal level rather than some random talking

What in the everloving fuck do you even think you’re talking about?

Things like heart attacks and strokes happen all the time. Not everyone dies of a prolonged illness.

May not have been caused by an illness.

No snark, Hannah Storm handles these unfortunate and unenviable reports with aplomb, striking just the right balance of professionalism and humanism.
