If I’ve got nothing better to do, riding around town in an air conditioned car, jamming tunes, meeting people and making a few bucks INTO my bank is a better use of my time than sitting on the sofa watching TV, or sitting in a bar drinking beer and taking a few bucks OUT of my bank account. It’s my time, and I should

If anything, Uber / ABnB / et al should be taking steps to actively discourage contractors from using their services as full time employment.

And this people is why we cant have nice things. When it started Uber was a side gig for people that already have jobs to make a few bucks on the side. Then a bunch of people decided to do it full time and bitch about how the system doesn’t work as they assume it should. Uber/Lyft didnt do anything to discourage this

The show was just such a massive misjudgment of what makes The Muppets work. The Muppets are, fundamentally, corny vaudeville-style jokes, barely controlled chaos, and the giddy joy of “let’s put on a show!” with or without the skill to actually do so. Changing that into a “The Office” style ‘work sucks’ drag was an aw

Yeah, I honestly don’t get the logic. “We want a billionty-seven dollars for the music that was already used on the show when you release it on DVD!!”
“Well, that’s not feasible, because we won’t make that much from the DVD.”
“OK THEN! YOU DON’T GET MY MUSIC! Now I don’t get paid ANYTHING and nobody gets to watch those

This comment is inexcusably missing a Statler & Waldorf-ian “oh-HOHOHOHOHO!” at the end.

I was too! (Until I watched it.)

Wow, you don’t sound unhinged at all. If you could make a point without sounding like a breathless eighth grader convinced the world is out to get him, maybe more people would pay attention to your point.

I’m still waiting to hear why accepting an exclusive deal for the game YOU made so that YOU can have financial security makes anyone “evil as fuck on this shit show.” Here’s a shocker: some people would rather know that they’re gonna be able to pay their employees for the rest of the year than not. If you’d just made

You act like you’ve uncovered some huge plot. It’s not a surprise that in their first year of operation they’ve decided that EGS should focus on exclusives. They’re trying to show themselves as offering unique options.

The email EGS sent to the Darq devs said “at this time” they’re not admitted (not EVER as you claim),

Particularly, I wish you would at least read the developer’s reasonings as to why he turned down the epic store exclusivity....and was then denied being put on the Epic store entirely.

The developers reasoning was fine, and its Epic’s choice to decide what they want to curate on their storefront. None of these things you’ve described is evil. This is just business.

The Epic Game Store is the current cool thing to hate, in a similar way to Battlefront II on release or other similar games. Like those, it’s marred by a huge amount of misinformation and literally everything connected to the current object of the Two Minute Hate has to be attacked and taken in the worst possible

Evil? How old are you, 12?

This kind of offhand dismissal always confuses me. Can people really not understand a distinction more subtle than “Google bad at private! Either no never trust Google or yes always trust Google!”

And they’re making record profits!

This is what you call deceptive marketing. So tell me how Tesla has “broken the traditional dealership experience” again...?

I’ll hand it to them for finally getting under $40k, but the cheapest starting price on the website is still $38,990.

This is what happens when a company is run by a drug addict with untreated ADDHD.

This is what they should have done from the beginning.  Just be a niche car maker for wealthy people, stop pretending and overpromising to the rest of the plebs.
