sort of love how unhinged these takes are.

I’m still waiting for my apology from my graduate school friends who got mad at me when I said the Hallelujah song performance was fucking embarrassing

The Cecily Strong “abortion commentary” characters are like something that a Studio 60 cast member would spend the whole episode agonizing over, before one of the head writers would convince them that the country needed this. Even if the audience wasn’t smart enough to laugh.

i would have said it more nicely but yes the idea that Maya Rudolph rose from nowhere is a bit silly given her parents involvement in the entertainment industry. still, she’s pretty good. my favorite is probably her Dionne Warwick impersonations

Portia’s sweater, albeit short-sleeved, was making me itch with discomfort just imagining how hot it is there.

Crying over seeing a bunch of your friends again?

Please, just because of that HBO is going to back to exclusively producing hacky sports comedies with Delta Burke, OJ Simpson, and a bunch of topless women.

While I do agree he could provide something fresh; I will never forgive him derailing a trilogy he knew he was asked to be a piece of. He could have done well with one of the “a Star Wars Story” movies but he chose to make “his movie” and not the second in a trilogy. It’s a cardinal sin and it’s only by Kathleen

Murray also stayed by Radner’s side until the end when she was dying, and they remained great friends up until her final moments. As noted elsewhere here, he also punched Chevy Chase and devastatingly called him a “medium talent” for being insanely terrible to the women on SNL. Maybe he’s a human being with flaws,

TNG should have established early on (and it would have literally taken one line of dialogue) that Data’s exterior is [insert technobabble word like “bioplasmonic”] which means it will age over time, explaining why Data looked older as Spiner got older.

I can buy Q aging to rub it in Picard’s face. I can buy Lore and Moriarty aging because they’ve been programmed to simulate human aging. But I can not buy pacifist Worf. That is a joke too far.

Speaking of videos seemingly being broken in comments these days, are videos not working these days for everyone else, or is it just me? Getting the same grey rectangle in both Firefox and Edge.

The break between Peter Capaldi and Jodie Whittaker was too long. My attention was already starting to flag (Peter Capaldi being brilliant in the role helped keep me in) but by the time the show came back, I just had no drive to see it.

For me it’s Walking Dead, there was like a 2 or 3 season slump there, but I hung in there, and last season was pretty decent. I even tried the spinoffs but bailed on them after a while. I am still not decided on whether or not to give the future spinoffs a shot.

I see that arc with Scott Bakula appearing as a link where Ben Voong and Sam Beckett cross paths. The coordinates in space and time that were calculated by Ziggy with episode 2, and having a location to travel to, seem like it might be to lead to meeting up with Sam and possibly trying to bring him home (with him not

Daemon’s claim to Runestone was denied by Lady Jeyne Arryn, so he pretty much had to marry again or risk being homeless.

And they do!

Are we supposed to be on Alicent’s side, because I’m kind of...not.

Love how everyone knows about how video numbers were overinflated and sites transitioning away from writing was a huge mistake, yet for some reason they still insist on doing it, even to the detriment of the user experience

So much better than made up swears like dank ferrick which sound unbearably dumb.
