When it causes physical harm or undermines the public safety, yes. But merely expressing disdainful views isn’t covered.

So then how isn’t this a violation of his right to free speech? Again yes he was an asshole, but still. The Supreme Court has ruled that tasteless speech is still covered.

Looks like he scraped the back bumper in that gif.

Lol. China sells arms to absolutely everyone. Norinco is banned in the US for precisely that, not that they still don’t do business elsewhere.

Being allies with isn’t just about petro-dollars though. SA was a Cold War ally and provides a counter-weight to Shia domination vis a vis Iran in the Middle East. When choosing between two insane religious theocracies, the one that has been your friend is a better choice than the one that has not been.

I thought progressives were all about truth and justice? Isn’t that why progressives supported the JASTA bill? If foreign policy deserves that kind of justice, then why doesn’t Israel’s capital deserve honesty?

The thing is, I still have to pay the dealer if there are still dealers. So either way I’m stuck paying more for the same thing. And yah, I can get Sony Tvs cheaper from Sony.

It’s not really in dispute though. Jerusalem is where the Parliment meets, its where the Capital is listed in the CIA World Fact Book. He wasn’t lying (for once).

Most try to tack on dealer document fees, inventory fees, etc. Sometimes you can haggle those away. With in demand cars, you can’t.

If the manufacturer was paying for that, you would pay MSRP. And those would rise because the manufacturer has more expenses. So vehicle costs rise. Trade value goes down, because dealers aren’t competing anymore so everything will be done by book value. Manufacturers may even insist on leasing ala cell companies.

Except you clearly have not taken an econ class. Dealers are middle men and middle men survive on a mark up. Period. End of story.

Except its not a fact, and you are ridiculous. Manufacturers have to compete to offer better products and prices already, dealers just have to mark up the car to make money. Sure, they have to compete to offer a lower mark up over the other dealers, but in the end they are still taking a cut above what the cost of the

The fact is dealers still make money And the fact is dealers still sue to prevent Tesla from doing direct sales, entirely because Tesla threatens dealers pockets. You haven’t done research, you are a joke.

I think its pretty clear you have no idea. I mean how does manufacturers cost go up in a direct sales model? The additional cost is miniscule. Dealers have to mark up cars over what they buy them for, this is a fact and its how dealers make money. Without dealers, we don’t need to put money in dealers pockets.

Except he was clearly outnumbered and also not being violent toward the protesters. He was a reprehensible asshole, but he still has a right to protest. Plenty of white people find POC protests to be “intimidating” but that doesn’t matter at all.

...??

Dealers have to make money, and they do that by selling cars for more than the price they paid the manufacturer for the car. So no matter which dealer you got to, somewhere you paid the dealer extra than what the car cost from the manufacturer. In essence dealers can never “compete” themselves out of staying in

Yes, it is. MSRP is a price above invoice price. Invoice price is the price the manufacturer sold the car to the dealer for. So, the difference between those two is the middle man cut that dealers take, or the dealers markup.

Yep. And the MSRP includes a markup over what the manufacturer sold the car to the dealer for, or “invoice price.” You know who does not have invoice prices? Tesla. Because I don’t have to pay the dealer for the privilege of buying the car.

Hey, imagine not having to deal with dealer haggling at all! And instead of paying the dealer some money to hold the truck from you, you could do business directly with the manufacturer! God, we could cut dealers out of the business completely! And save money on cars!
