I agree with this. I get stuck on finding that perfect valuation. While it can be fun, it’s a big time sink, and it also “costs” your own time. Once you have a decent balance of points it makes better sense to just use them.

Agreed. Southwest isn’t without their problems but their “if there’s not a butt in the seat, you can take it” policy makes flying with anyone else a pain. Not to mention paying for baggage.
