Nats were up 2-0 & set to clinch a World Series Title at home and then lord fat ass announces that he will attend game 5 & everything went to hell. The internet did a wonderful job of showing lots of clips of Obama going to Sporting Events Nationwide & getting showered with nothing but love. When I see the clip of his

How do I make this my ringtone?

“One day, I’ll find and imprison all these people for hurting my feelings with their mean, mean words. Then I’ll have someone hurt them.”

It’s because of that new-fangled indeependent rear suspension. If that were a solid axle like god intended, he probably could have saved it with a really cool powerslide or some shit.

This is the proudest I’ve felt while living in this area in a long time.

The problem with the open-concept office isn’t the openness. It’s the concept. Ripping down the walls to clear out space sounds like a grand idea, but there is a whole learning on office practices and behaviors that has to happen at all levels to make it work. Here are some key points-

Wow, just wow. The fact that McLaughlin was able to walk away from that impact with no injuries shows the huge leaps motorsports have made in safety engineering. Now, if we can just keep all the debris on the racetrack...

I’m no mechanical engineer, but I don’t think your axle is supposed to sit perpendicular to the rear end like that.

Oh thank gods. It’s pushing 11:00 am Monday on the East Coast, and there was only one post. Ever since Splinter got abruptly taken out behind the barn, I get nervous about longs gaps like that.

Open concept work spaces are the worst idea the 21st century has produced. All it does is breed paranoia among staff members.

Yes, after having had private offices, shared offices, private cubicles, semi-private cubicles, and open bull pens, the open bull pen is definitely the worst concept for like, 90% of usages.

I cannot agree more. We just moved from an incoherent space much like what you describe-years and years of gloaming onto newly-available spaces and punching through the walls-into a new, open-office thing.  I’m not digging it so far, for the reasons you describe.  It’s nice and shiny and new, but I can hear every

As someone whose office just got renovated recently to a more “open concept”, it’s really not as good as a lot of people want to think.  I do like that we actually refreshed the interior to a cohesive theme instead of the years and years of additions and moved walls and mismatched carpet, but open concept means you

Personally, this went just about perfectly. Jose Andres throws out first pitch, gets some modicum of proper recognition. Trump gets heartily booed (by a mostly rich, mostly white, conservative-skewing crowd). Alvarez, Correa, and Springer all hit bombs. Astros win and all the little George Wills went home sad.

You joke, but it actually warmed my heart a little to see that.

Not just started the fire, but told everybody to flee when it was at a stage where it could have been stomped out by a few dedicated people.

An AZ gender reveal party cost $8,000,000 and burned 47,000 acres.

Congratulations to your mom for not immediately being fired for violating HIPAA policy, family or not.
