A supposedly reputable collector card authentication company, that specialises in sealed boxes, verified the boxes…

I watched it. Like the article says, he had members (and the owner) of the Basketball Card Exchange in the room with him, going over their reasons why they verified why the sealed box was legit.

Also, how do you pay $3.5 million to someone you can’t track down ?

Wait, BCE’s defense was, “He didn’t ask us if they were Pokemon cards. He asked us if they were in good condition”? That’s some Twilight Zone genie shit.

I’m not going to watch any of this so maybe there is a perfectly good reason, but how is this possible. How do you buy something for $3.5m without having a way to verify what you’re buying or ensure you get your money back if its a fake.

Odds are very high he will reoffend especially since the recidivism rate for rapist and child molesters are very substantial. Add to the fact that many young rapist and young child molesters graduate to even more violent crimes it’s a good bet that this entitled prick of a judge just let a future murderer off.  

Sounds like he needs some broken legs. I’m sure she’s got male friends/family who could take care of this situation. I was raised without explicitly being told “don’t rape girls/women”, and made it to the ripe of age of “old as fuck”(read: 40) without having attempted to sexually assault anyone.

the judge overturned his own verdict AND victim-blamed for hosting the party?  I’m kinda shocked he didn’t ding her for not successfully killing herself.  Wow, fuck this guy with Jeff Bezos’s rocket.
