Agreed...and Georgia has one more piece of heavy lifting for us all, which is to repeat, if not increase, turnout January 5 for Warnock and Ossoff to take the senate away from Mitch.

As a sidenote, during this year I’ve found myself, for natural reasons, thinking a lot about Biden and it hit me that he is one of the more complex politicians out there. Now I want to stress that isn’t a positive or a negative, rather that in his long political career there have been shifts in attitudes and views…

Thank God. I’m nearly crying from relief. I anticipate Trump and a few cronies continuing the usual tactics while the rest of the sycophants slowly back away and try to figure out how to save their careers.

Why is it baffling? Moderates have been doing that forever. They are far more afraid of the progressive left than they are of the regressive right, and it shows. They wanted to appeal to the center-right moderates, failed and are blaming progressives for that failure, instead of looking at why and how their appeals…

It’s baffling to me that the progressives kept their seats, the moderates lost, and somehow the moderates are blaming the progressives for that. Maybe, I don’t know, look at where taking an actual fucking stance will get you!

AOC isn’t purporting to lecture anyone on the south.  But I’m not even sure what the relevance here is.  Jim Clyburn is in just as safe a blue district as AOC is.
