Nearly 20% of black men (my demo) voted for Trump, and he had the highest share of the minority vote of any Republican presidential candidate in 60 years.

Unless you canvassed or otherwise participated in the campaign you did nothing more than those who voted for Biden ‘unenthusiastically’.
Agreed...and Georgia has one more piece of heavy lifting for us all, which is to repeat, if not increase, turnout January 5 for Warnock and Ossoff to take the senate away from Mitch.
Another thing is how much of the “conventional wisdom” died a painful death throughout this whole thing. I just in the primaries he lost Iowa New Hampshire AND Nevada in the (a death sentence to any campaign prior) won despite barely spending anything and having basically no organization including winning states he…
Congrats to all Americans, from your Canadian brothers and sisters <3<3<3
I always forget that the unenthusiastic votes count less.
As a sidenote, during this year I’ve found myself, for natural reasons, thinking a lot about Biden and it hit me that he is one of the more complex politicians out there. Now I want to stress that isn’t a positive or a negative, rather that in his long political career there have been shifts in attitudes and views…
Thank God. I’m nearly crying from relief. I anticipate Trump and a few cronies continuing the usual tactics while the rest of the sycophants slowly back away and try to figure out how to save their careers.
Thank god, but no thanks to you and some of the other writers here who repeatedly damned Biden with faint praise. Oh, and thank those of us who put aside our personal feelings when our candidate (Warren, in my case) lost in the primaries and enthusiastically got behind Biden.
Jesus Christ the sense of relief. I mean, it has felt almost inevitable for two days now, but still the moment of euphoria when reading that headline. And while there’s a lot to be said about the polls, it does seem like the Biden campaign were strategically smart by keeping the focus on those key Blue Wall states…
Why is it baffling? Moderates have been doing that forever. They are far more afraid of the progressive left than they are of the regressive right, and it shows. They wanted to appeal to the center-right moderates, failed and are blaming progressives for that failure, instead of looking at why and how their appeals…
It’s baffling to me that the progressives kept their seats, the moderates lost, and somehow the moderates are blaming the progressives for that. Maybe, I don’t know, look at where taking an actual fucking stance will get you!
AOC isn’t purporting to lecture anyone on the south. But I’m not even sure what the relevance here is. Jim Clyburn is in just as safe a blue district as AOC is.
Yep. Thanks to the organizing efforts of people like Stacy Abrams, the turnout in urban Democratic strongholds like Atlanta, Philadelphia, Detroit were key to flipping the key states. And yet (mostly) white moderate centrists in the House are already blaming progressives in the House, who are largely people of color…
HUD Secretary
Stacey Abrams for head of Biden’s DOJ Civil Rights Division or as the Commissioner of the FEC.
Platinum Plan sounds like something that’s in a pyramid scheme lol
Uh sir, that’s Lil Pimp. lol
There is no Republican myth. This is just black people who have made it not caring about the rest.
Cube gave a lot of shit to Eazy E going to that Republican fundraiser back in the day, and what he is doing now is even dumber.
